Canadiens offense snakebitten, Hurricanes win 3-0
For the second straight game, the Fort William Canadiens have significantly outshot their opponents but again struggled to finish their opportunities as the Fort William Hurricanes defeated the Canadiens 3-0.
Just 1:42 into the game, the Hurricanes Matthew Himanen opened the scoring with a goal while on a delayed Canadiens penalty.
Again less then two minutes into a period, Himanen backhanded home a goal to start and end the second period scoring.
Himanen would end the scoring, firing home an empty netter for the hat trick.
Notes: The Canadiens were 0-3 on the powerplay and killed their only shorthanded opportunity; Johnathon Gammond again dressed as the backup goaltender in place of Parker Ball; The Canadiens return to the ice on Monday November 4th versus the Current River Comets.
